The Lost Symbol is the title of the fifth Dan Brown novel; it is the third book in the Robert Langdon series. It is set in Washington, D.C. and focuses on the Freemason Founding Fathers.[1]
According to Stephen Rubin, president of Bertelsmann's Doubleday Broadway Publishing Group which published the book, "Dan Brown has a very specific release date for the publication of his new book, and when the book is published, his readers will see why." [2] It was published on September the 15th 2009 with a print run of 5 million copies.
